These kinds of sealed connections seldom give trouble: I could see an issue with trailer connections (like the example below), though the issue could be conductive debris and not the dielectric grease itself. Again, this could be tested with a quality volt-ohmmeter.

2002年10月24日 · The dielectric grease I use comes out of a tube, not a spray nozzle, and is a thick, clear gel-like substance. I used it on electrical connections like headlight prongs, etc. Motorcycles vibrate and shake a lot. This tends to cause electrical connections to loosen, and once they loosen a bit you will get electrical arcing between the components.

2020年11月12日 · When I worked in the field on the communication industry were instructed to not use it on the pins, but that stuff was thick as all get out. If in doubt, don't. A bad connector will be made worse with dielectric. A good connector with a light smear of lightweight dielectric grease may last a lot longer though. I don't know for sure.

I would think that "non conductive" would be good 'cause you want the current to go thru the connector, not thru the grease. I got a can of it at a local auto parts place for about 8 buck IIRC. It will last me a few years.
