2019年7月5日 · The biggest problem with it is it's too easy to use and apparently fun because I keep seeing places where way too many staples are being used. I reminded the crew that we only need one staple every 4.5 feet, not every 1.5 to 2 feet and that extra staples and stapling makes the job cost more.

2021年1月24日 · From what I understand about the DeWalt it has a sensor or "feeler" you place it over the cable or cable(s) so it know how far to set the depth like 1 14/2, 2 14/2s stacked or a 14/3 etc. It doesn't set the staple tight to the cable you can slide the cable after the staple has been set. Someone correct me if I am wrong.

2020年6月15日 · I use a Gardner Bender Staple Boss, especially in the crawlspace as its faster than using a regular staple and hammer. Sometimes I have to tap the staple a bit with a hammer. Got mine at Home Depot. As far as the Dewalt, I am waiting for Milwaukee to come out with a M12 battery version

2011年1月11日 · I can put in 4 to 5 by the time you can put in one regular staple. The only issue I have had with an inspector over the stapler was he had never seen one and he walked around shooting staples in studs like a kid with a new toy. The only thing about the gun is getting in tight places and if the wire is in a bind the staple will not set all the way.

2007年2月27日 · I have been called for more then 1 romex under a slandered staple 1/2 by 11/8". If you read the GB bow it does state 2 conductors well there are 2 conductors in a 12-2 or 14-2 romex. The inspector made us get GB ms-XL staples witch are 1/2 by 1 3/4".

2007年4月23日 · If it does, you need a bigger staple. If, not, go with it. If the Inspectors are concerned about “over driving” in order to make the staple hold on multiple cables, one of our insulated staples such as the IN 3000 or IN3125 may be the answer. We have seen sales of IN3125 (based on our #125 staple) increase lately, primarily for this reason.
