Will Sauron return alongside Morgoth during Dagor Dagorath?
2021年8月16日 · Dagor Dagorath (ie the plot of Morgoth being slain by Turin) was scrapped (to some degree, at least). But the idea of a Final Battle wasn't entirely dismissed. (It is a messy case - as Christopher sort of changed his mind a little on his father's intent)
Is Dagor Dagorath canon? : r/tolkienfans - Reddit
Dagor Dagorath, in in-universe pov, is a mannish legend, much like Armageddon or Rangnarok in other myths and legends throughout history. The whole battle was a legend made by Andreth the Wise-woman. Might wanna check out other people's explanation on what's canon and what's not to understand this better, what I wrote might be a bit confusing, lol.

2022年2月18日 · The Dagor Dagorath if we want to bit pedantic, is not canon. But is fucking cool. I mean, Turin has been waiting all this time just to "FUCK YOU" to Morgoth. Since the stories were supposed to be a mythological history of our Earth, and Tolkien said we are probably in the 6th or 7th Age currently, the Dagor Dagorath hasn't happened yet.
