I know AutoCAD can open the DXF files but it is too forgiving and will correct inconsistencies without complaining. I'm looking for something that would at least warn me of these inconsistencies/errors before correcting and displaying the DXF file. thanks

Also how are you exporting a DWG, is it a 2d drawing or a 3d model. Note. The DXF unit problem is an export of a sketch, i'm not sure about an export from Dashboard. Mark.
