DUSP5 - Wikipedia
Dual specificity protein phosphatase 5 is an enzyme that in humans is encoded by the DUSP5 gene. [5][6] The protein encoded by this gene is a member of the dual specificity protein phosphatase subfamily. These phosphatases inactivate their target kinases by dephosphorylating both the phosphoserine/threonine and phosphotyrosine residues.

2024年12月24日 · DUSP5 (Dual Specificity Phosphatase 5) is a Protein Coding gene. Diseases associated with DUSP5 include Epilepsy, Idiopathic Generalized 2 and Lymphoma, Mucosa-Associated Lymphoid Type. Among its related pathways are MAPK family signaling cascades and Signaling downstream of RAS mutants.
Dual-specificity phosphatase 5 acts as an anti-inflammatory
2017年12月11日 · Here, we show that DUSP5 is induced during lipopolysaccharide (LPS)-mediated inflammation and inhibits nuclear factor-κB (NF-κB) activity. DUSP5 mRNA and protein expression increased...
Dual-Specificity Phosphatases in Immunity and Infection: An Update
DUSP5 is a nuclear MKP and inducible by heat shock and growth factors in mammalian cells . DUSP5 binds directly to and inactivates ERK MAPKs, but not other MAPK family members . Its nuclear localization leads to the anchoring of ERK in the nucleus and strict compartmentalization of ERK de-phosphorylation .
DUSP5 functions as a feedback regulator of TNFα-induced ERK1/2 ...
Dual specificity phosphatases (DUSPs) inactivate ERK 1/2 through dephosphorylation and can thus inhibit inflammatory gene expression. We report that DUSP5, an ERK1/2 phosphatase, was induced in epididymal white adipose tissue (WAT) in response to diet-induced obesity.
DUSP5 dual specificity phosphatase 5 [ (human)] - National …
DUSP5 functions in the feedback inhibition of ERK1/2 signaling in response to TNFalpha, which resulted in increased inflammatory gene expression. Data show that dual specificity phosphatase 5 (DUSP5) is a downstream target of p68 RNA helicase (p68).
Dual Specificity Phosphatase 5 Is Essential for T Cell Survival
2016年12月9日 · DUSP5 is a nuclear, inducible phosphatase with high affinity and fidelity for ERK1/2. By regulating the final step in the MAPK signaling cascade, DUSP5 exerts strong regulatory control over a central cellular pathway. Like other DUSPs, DUSP5 plays an important role in immune function.
