Top speeds! DR650 and DRZ400. - DR - ThumperTalk
2004年6月19日 · When my '01 DR650 had the stock 15 tooth sprocket and stock trailwings the best I could get was 104mph on the speedo. Now with a 14 tooth sprocket and knobs I hit 90 the other day. It would probably do a little more,95 maybe. But thats stupid, unsafe and not what the bike is for.14 or 15 tooth sprocket, the best cruise speed is 60-75.
What is "comfy" cruising speed for DR650? | Adventure Rider
2004年10月20日 · The bike will easily run over 100 mph indicated even with the lower gearing, but it ain't a comfy speed, wind buffeting is extreme. If I'm doing primarily high speed road riding, I'll wear a street helmet since the visor on the dirt helmet acts …
DR650: What's your REAL top speed? - DR - ThumperTalk
2008年12月19日 · Yeah, you're right, I havent got GPS on mine, but I've measured its top speed against my mates on their sportsbikes. My speedo doesnt seem any more inaccurate than any other bikes. Its obviously not 100% though, so I'm happy to …
DR650 gearing - DR - ThumperTalk
2010年8月31日 · With the 14/45 setup, absolute top speed (on my '05 DR650, level road at this altitude) is about 90mph indicated on the stock speedometer. I have taken it on multi-day trips and cruised on two lane roads at 70-75mph with no complaints from the DR, but higher gearing is probably better if you're spending time at those speeds.

Suzuki DR650: All Things To All Riders - Adventure Rider
Go ahead, I dare you: Name another motorcycle that is as versatile as the Suzuki DR650. Sure, it’s kinda heavy for off-road. Sure, it’s kinda slow for high-speed street riding or road touring. Sure, it’s kinda old-fashioned, pretty much unchanged since 1996. But for every one of those problems, there’s a kinda-sorta fix.
DR650 vs. DRZ400S - Adventure Rider
2006年8月8日 · The top speed is in the high 90's, maybe even over 100 (I never tried past 95). Cruising at 75 - 85 mph is easy for the DR's engine and it feels comfortable, stable and smooth. In the slow twisties, a DR (with minor modifications) will hang with, and in some cases embarrass a sport bike (as will a KLR).
Suzuki DR-Z400, DR650 Returning With Big Changes - Adventure …
2023年6月22日 · And, the DR650 and DR-Z400 are back—the Dizzer returning in both dual sport and supermoto trims. Both bikes come in somewhat brighter colors than the depressing industrial battleship gray paint that Suzuki’s used the past few years—good stuff!
MPG at 75-80mph: DR650 VS DRZ400 - DR - ThumperTalk
2007年1月23日 · For cruising at 75-80mph, the DRZ is at the busy end of its rev range in top gear.OK for a few miles but not for a sustained journey at that speed. About 70mph is a fair top cruising speed. The DR650 is fine at 75-80mph, and will happily do that all day due to its long legs, and far less tiring as its revving more slowly .It wins in my view.

2007年9月15日 · I rode my '06 DR650 to work today on I-80 and wicked it up to pass a truck. I felt like I was going pretty fast, looked and the speedo said 103 MPH.
