2020年4月23日 · Hi guys Keep seeing many videos on youtube of people using rotary buffers or a DA polisher. It seems Ultimate Compound is the best way to remove swirls followed by the Mirror Glaze however I am confused as to what machine best to do it with.

If you really must remove with a DA, the recommended pad was a burgundy pad, covered with a MF bonnet. But Meguiars don't make the MF bonnets any more, so maybe you can source from another supplier?

2017年7月11日 · I.e - if a DA is spinning at a rate of 1000 OPM, does that mean that the motorised spindle is rotating at 1000 RPM? (leaving the free spinning spindle out of the discussion at the moment) "RPM" means "rotations per minute" and definitely can be used in the context of a DA, when referring to its motor, which turns a spindle on a fixed axis.

Word of caution - it's a long read! Although you can use the Meguiar's DA and the M105/M205 combo instead of the Griot's DA and the Wolfgang twins if you wish. Hope this helps!

Try something like the previously mentioned M80, M205, or even Swirlx (if you have that) with a LC white, green or black pad (recommended based on link provided).

We recommend our DBP5 SOFT BUFF 5" DA BACKING PLATE for use on our MT300. ( We also have a 3 inch backing plate for use with our 3" & 4" discs/pads, our DBP3 SOFT BUFF 3" DA BACKING PLATE. More on that later.)
