Oct 2, 2004 · Can anybode give me some specs from the D16A8 engine? Specs like : bore,stroke,hp,torque and so on. Because i don't think we've had the D16A8 here in the netherlands, and i've know this engine exists, but don't know nothing about it. We had the D16A9 and D16Z5 engine's here in europe. And is this truly a D16A8 engine like the seller is telling?

May 28, 2008 · d16a8/9, d16z5 are DOHC, D series motors. The DOHC motor stamped "ZC", is the Japanese market equivalent. Same motor, different stamping due to region it was marketed in.

Oct 2, 2004 · It were all SOHC engine's but they had valve covers that look just like the valve cover on this D16A8 (with the same stripes on it) only then the SOHC version of it.., so my guess is that it is an D16A8 that comes out of a Rover what should explain the strange valve cover.
