This special door known as a “Cross & Bible Door”, “Bible & Cross Door” or “Christian door.” These doors have been around since the 18th to 19th Century. Then in 2017, I see it has gone around again, so I figured I would republish this article.

If you notice the top middle section, it resembles a cross and the bottom section is supposed to resemble two pages of an open bible. Now I've read this design was to combat expansion and retraction doors go through seasonally with the weather.
