The Common Man Claremont sits on the Sugar River in an old mill building next to the Common Man Inn. Since opening in 2009, the restaurant has served delicious American fare to guests.

Opened in 2005, the Common Man Merrimack serves the same American fare with New England flair as our other Common Man locations. From our Nantucket Pie, to our Meatloaf, to our famous Mac ‘n Cheese – if it’s comfort food you crave, we’ve got it!

The first Common Man Restaurant was opened on Main Street in Ashland, NH back in November 1971 by owner and founder Alex Ray. The restaurant, which was on the first floor of Alex’s home, could serve all of 35 people in its cozy front dining room.

Lakehouse Grille is a proud member of the Common Man family of restaurants, and offers a unique, attentive dining experience in an Adirondack-style setting with sweeping views of Meredith Bay on Lake Winnipesaukee in Meredith, N.H. Our creative chefs serve up New England cuisine with world fusion.
