About Commander Spellbook. The Commander Spellbook project is a search engine for Commander/EDH combos and that makes them easily available across all modern digital platforms. This community driven project is used to power EDHREC's Combo Feature.

Commander Spellbook assigns a unique ID to each combo. Use spellbookid to search by this ID. For example, spellbookid:2120-5329 searches for a variant whose id is exactly 2120-5329 .

The Commander Spellbook uses American English. Wizards of the Coast uses American English, and so do we. Card Names General. All card names should be written out in full. No abbreviations, nicknames, etc. Note that this is different from how they are handled in other sections of the combo, where abbreviations are permitted in some cases.
