Collete is a first-generation racer and had to find her foothold in the sport on her own. She is ultra-competitive by nature and as a kid she tried her hand at everything she could (competitive cheerleading, basketball, soccer, and track & field) but nothing ever “stuck” like racing.
Collete’s journey into the world of Drifting started with a 1988 Mazda Rx-7 she found on craigslist. She had always been fascinated watching her friends drift, and impressed by how much the sport is growing, but didn’t have the money to buy a proper drift car.
Collete made her sports car racing debut in a Pro Challenge Mustang in SCCA 2010 with team owner Ron Stanley. In her first year racing the car, she set a new track record at Sebring International Raceway for the SPU class, and won multiple events in fields of 30+ cars.

At 23, Collete Davis has raced for Red Bull, negotiated major endorsements, and hosted a TV show. As she climbs to the top of the podium, she says success comes down to one thing: believing in yourself.
