2016年1月10日 · The Coleman 500 is one of my favorites for car camping. First made in 1938 in Canada, with a run of 20+ years, it is a substantial single burner with a large, sturdy grate / pot holder and large fuel tank. It has a 1930s industrial look about it which I like. They are not too expensive or rare. The pre- 1954 models have the "spider web" grate.

2019年6月18日 · For what it’s worth, I like 502’s,,, it’s my absolute favorite single burner Coleman,,, I’ve given one to each of the male members of my large family,,, Now I’m back up to three 502’s in my shop, so a couple of close friends will soon be getting their own 502.

2020年7月31日 · Essentially building the necessary parts to turn your 5 series stove into a sort of solo 4 series. Or track down one of the older style European-based stoves that are laid out like a 2- or 3- burner Coleman, but only have one burner. There's been a few posted lately.

2022年7月26日 · @Jcra1988 As Jim said, your stove is a M-1950, that is a Stove, single-burner Model of 1950. These stoves were made to a government design, known as a Military Specification, often abbreviated as mil-spec. Different manufacturers was awarded a contract to make these stoves for the government at different times.

2019年12月10日 · Coleman 5438 Propane single burner made 4/95 has similar grill/windscreen design as the 550b did. Nice non slip grill on stove that simmers and has good high heat. This one is in good condition for a design that was not known for being very sturdy to save weight.

2019年5月3日 · hi, new member here. I have a Coleman model 421-D (Canadian) and have been searching for a generator No. 412 262. I read that other generator Numbers may work with my stove but can’t as of yet find a compatibility list. If anyone reading knows of generators that will work with my model or of a reference list, I would love to hear from you.
