2019年8月22日 · When I was referring to the air brake, I actually should have said the brake pipe because air is still required regardless for the brake cylinders. The electro-pneumatic braking on modern trains such as the Class 377 is controlled by an onboard computer rather than a brake pipe. Air is still involved but there is no brake pipe on a Class 377.
