A dangerous drug interaction can occur if Citalopram is combined with any of these medications. Before taking Citalopram, tell your doctor if you have liver disease, have kidney disease, cardiac or blood illnesses, suffer from seizures or suffer from mania or have suicidal thoughts. It is not known yet whether Citalopram may harm an unborn baby.

2005年8月31日 · I am on citalopram 10mg and had exactly the same side effects you are talking about, they increased my anxiety a lot in the first 2 weeks but i decided to carry on and keep going with them and they really turned me around, the two weeks of heightened anxiety was worth it in the long run definatley. let us know how you get on take care Trac xx

2013年7月1日 · Im on 20 mg of citalopram. likely side effects to start will be dizziness, nausea, dilated pupils are all normal. I swear the citalopram has made my pupils unequal, a few others have said the same too. loads on here take citalopram, its a very effective drug but it does not work straight away, 4 weeks really you need to give it. good luck Jase

2007年5月10日 · I've been on citalopram for 6 years.. the jaw clenching thing was with me for a while like the first year or 2. It's mainly just anxiety and from being so tense all the time. Get a night time mouth guard to avoid any damange to teeth or anything. Now i dont clench my jaw but i chew on my lips/cheeks sometimes and dont realize it! Best of luck

Re: Hair thinning on citalopram You can get hair loss on it .But to be honest its probably the Anxiety causing it .Mine went very thin and once I had adjusted on my Cit it got better .There are lots of supplements/ vits you can take to help if not .Hope you feel better soon .Sue x
