2016年6月15日 · I'm not sure what you are implying with that link. The rotors do mesh. They are conttolled by being rigidly connected through a series of 5 gearboxes.

Chinook pilot here. Lots of good info in here but I haven't seen this mentioned. Fore and aft cyclic is a bit different for us. In a single rotor helicopter when you push the cyclic it tilts the disc and the helicopter moves in that direction. In the Chinook, forward or aft cyclic creates, what we call, differential collective pitch (DCP).
