I am currently migrating mailboxes from Exchange 2003 > Exchange 2010, I have currently moved 2 mailboxes and according to PowerShell the total size of both is less than 400MB although the EDB file is 3.1GB… why is this, an newly created DB is about 8MB so where is the rest of the file usage coming from?
