They bid out to Filter suppliers and buy from the cheapest, have them painted CAT yellow and put their name on them. Last time I heard it was Fleetguard building them. I'm a Donaldson fan personally

2019年3月4日 · The CAT 1R-1807 filter is rated at 4 microns @ 20% efficiency and at 20 microns at 100% efficiency. The M1-303 is rated at at 5 microns @ 50% efficiency and 18 microns at 99% efficiency. The adapter is $50, and the Cat filters are 2X expensive than the M1-303.

2020年10月2日 · I have a LB7 with the 1807 cat filter. I just put it on roughly 3000 miles ago. Haven't had an issue. I'm just more worried about the higher oil pressure. This morning it was 40 outside and it started up and idled at 85 psi until it warmed up. I didn't plug it in last winter, I definitely will this winter.

2023年9月4日 · Seems like a somewhat popular modification of using an adapter to run the CAT 1R- 1807 oil filter is quite controversial ! (Even to the point of some self- redacted posts???) I ask because my new to me 04 LB7 that I bought Last year is due for an oil change and you guessed it:it came with 3 spare CAT filters and one fitted on currently.

2022年12月16日 · CAT 1R-1807 oil filter ($20.00 to40.00$) to be installed on the Duramax 6.6L . I looked under my 22 AT4 and because the CAT filter is much longer and has more oil capacity it looks like I might have a little interference. Seems older Duramax 6.6L do not have this item in the way. Was wondering if any of you have a comment or experience with
