3 天之前 · Welcome to Carnegie State Vehicular Recreation Area! Located in the hills of eastern Alameda and western San Joaquin counties, Carnegie is one of nine SVRAs administered by the California Department of Parks and Recreation.

Since 1939 California State Parks has produced many different decals reflect-ing the many changes in the department. Decals are used on vehicles, signs, safety equipment or wherever an oficial department image is necessary. Today’s decal consists of the California Grizzly Bear for the center image and California State Parks as the text.

California State Parks administers 279 separate park units on 1.4 million acres (5,700 km 2), with over 280 miles (450 km) of California coastline; 625 miles (1,006 km) of lake and river frontage; nearly 15,000 campsites; and 3,000 miles (4,800 km) of hiking, biking, and equestrian trails.

To provide for the health, inspiration and education of the people of California by helping to preserve the state's extraordinary biological diversity, protecting its most valued natural and cultural resources, and creating opportunities for high-quality outdoor recreation.

The new patches are an adoption of the existing California State Parks trademark logo, the familiar blue and gold, circular patch with the grizzly bear, as the single identification brand for California State Parks. The change has been in the works …
