2021年2月3日 · I went to carmax when selling my first car as young adult. A 97 Honda Accord, not great, but it was a car. They offered me $200. $200! My xbox cost more than that. You couldn't get 4 tires on a car for $200. I politely declined and sold it myself for $1000 less than a week later. I'll never take any car to Carmax again.

Was curious what my 2022 Toyota Corolla was worth on car max so I did a quote, and showed $22k. I did it again a month or so later and it’s now only $20k. I was shocked it went down so much in such short time, so i researched and turns out that the first offer you get is almost always the best offer you’re gonna get.
