2023年9月28日 · Hi, new to cakewalk and music making software. I'm looking for some good free plugins, specifically voice/sound altering plugins (that have presets) and also free midi instruments. I know that cakewalk comes with a lot of midi instruments, but their quality are pretty poor, and I was wondering if there are any free instruments with better quality.

2022年10月6日 · BBC Symphony Orchestra Discover and the other plugins from Spitfire Audio LABS are well worth looking into. There's also The Free Orchestra from ProjectSAM. All of the above made it into my first attempt at composing something properly for over 20 years , and the entire thing including adding the music to the video was done in Cakewalk.

Don't forget Cakewalk has its built in pro-channel, which already has a nice eq, compression, saturation etc which is automatically on every channel. Very useful. The sonitus reverb, compressor, eqs etc it comes with aren't pretty, but they work pretty well.

2022年8月22日 · The Melodyne Essential distributed with Cakewalk by BandLab is a trial version. People upvoting this comment are doing so because it tells them what sounds nice to hear, not facts. Cakewalk SONAR Platinum included a full version of Melodyne Essential, but the free Cakewalk by BandLab now distributes does not. It is only a trial.
