Interleukin 8 - Wikipedia
Interleukin 8 (IL-8 or chemokine (C-X-C motif) ligand 8, CXCL8) is a chemokine produced by macrophages and other cell types such as epithelial cells, airway smooth muscle cells [3] and endothelial cells. Endothelial cells store IL-8 in their storage vesicles, the Weibel–Palade bodies.

2024年12月24日 · CXCL8 (C-X-C Motif Chemokine Ligand 8) is a Protein Coding gene. Diseases associated with CXCL8 include Adult Respiratory Distress Syndrome and Melanoma. Among its related pathways are MIF Mediated Glucocorticoid Regulation and TGF-Beta Pathway.
The chemokines CXCL8 and CXCL12: molecular and functional
2023年2月1日 · CXCL8 is the most potent human neutrophil-attracting chemokine and plays crucial roles in the response to infection and tissue injury. CXCL8 activity inherently depends on interaction with the...
CXCL8 C-X-C motif chemokine ligand 8 [ (human)] - National …
CXCL8 is predominantly secreted by macrophages and contributes to the immunosuppressive microenvironment by inducing PD-L1(+) macrophages in gastric cancer. CXCL8 inhibitors may drive antitumour response, providing potential therapeutic effects for patients with gastric cancer.

2025年2月17日 · Here we elucidate the role of CXCL8 as an early response gene to EV-D68 infection. Silencing CXCL8 or its receptors, CXCR1/2, impedes EV-D68 replication in vitro. Upon recognition of CXCL8 by...
CXCL8 in Tumor Biology and Its Implications for Clinical Translation
The chemokine CXCL8 has been found to play an important role in tumor progression in recent years. CXCL8 activates multiple intracellular signaling pathways by binding to its receptors (CXCR1/2), and plays dual pro-tumorigenic roles in the tumor ...
The CXCL8/IL-8 chemokine family and its receptors in ... - PubMed
CXCL8 (interleukin-8) is a member of the chemokine family that acts on CXCR1 and CXCR2 receptors. CXCL1, CXCL2, CXCL3, CXCL5, CXCL6, and CXCL7 are also ELR+ chemokine members that bind to these receptors, especially CXCR2.
