2005年7月6日 · There are also 2 way systems (hot and chilled) that use a Differential By-pass Valve in the piping which will open as the 2-way valve closes in order to by-pass water from the supply to the return, keeping constant flow through the chiller (or boiler). These valves operate by a differential controller that the Balancer sets up at job commisioning.

2019年9月16日 · I believe it is circuited left and right, but the outside tubes froze the worst since the charge was short, causing it to not have a full coil of refrigerant. We want to cut the shell open to see if the piping on the other circuit is damaged, but I'm not sure the owner will allow it. The replacement chiller is being set today.

2012年1月6日 · A four pipe change over system changes the main coil (chw coil) over to heating at low OA temps. They run as a standard 4 pipe then at a certain condition they change the chiled water piping over to heat just like a standard 2 pipe system. The units use that as the primary heat source at that point. We have a few around here at a complex.

Thats just a few of the many items to be considered. It would be impossible to state "How hard" to remove/replace the motor.

2006年9月30日 · is the coil lower than pumps, then possible on supply to allow head on return piping, then there is venting, hi point vents and flow requirements, most all are in the final thoughts applied to the problem, but mostly the budget for the design is biggest constraint.

2012年5月24日 · I have a pretty large central CHW plant that is requiring a lot of makeup water (several gpm, continuous). No visible leak has been detected. Any other ideas as to the source of the system requiring so much water (other than a leak or cross connected to serve plumbing systems), est a 500 ton system is being served.
