2021年4月5日 · I was wrong- ccac says minimum is 58.7 percent on teas. Shadyside had 58.7but increased it recently to 62 percent. But because ccac is a solid nursing school and relatively the cheapest around, the advice a nursing instructor friend gave me to study for the teas to get a decently high score still applies.

From CCAC I transferred to Penn State (loans) where I graduated. Currently I am in the Katz MBA program at Pitt, working full time, and running a small business. I have 1 bachelors (PSU) and 3 associates (CCAC). I feel forever in debt to CCAC for the education I received, learning much more from the people there than I have anywhere since.

2017年10月31日 · Keep in mind what the Pitt classes credits are in this case! At CCAC a class might be 4 credits, but only be 3 credits at Pitt. Keep that in mind when counting credits! STEP 2: GO TO PITT TOO. YOU CAN GO TO PITT CLASSES FOR CCAC PRICES. I highly suggest doing this. If CCAC does not offer a class, you can take it at Pitt while paying through CCAC.

2020年12月6日 · I've heard good things about UPMC Mercy School of Nursing. I don't know much about Shadyside's school. Several of my cousins have successfully gone through CCAC's RN program. CCAC has quality instructors and affordable tuition. Pitt has a second degree BSN program, that's 3 consecutive semesters, but it's full-time.

2012年5月17日 · CCAC helped me get exactly what I needed in the academic maturity department, but I defiantly knew a lot of people that never changed their habits. The application can be a bit long winded, you are basically 'in' by being a resident, but they will still require a GED/Diploma, application fee, and 4-6 weeks.

A monthly pass might at least be cheaper. Consider how much just parking would cost. I think you might consider walking and or biking if it's only a 15 minute bus ride. (?) But further consider too that if CCAC provided such it would still cost someone somewhere along the line and it would likely increase your and everyone else's tuition.
