I used to see it often at one of the stores because 2 manufacturer of c2s we had sometimes had a broken tablet inside and that broken tablet only last so long from going bottle to bottle before it breaks even more and someone just tosses it.

2023年5月23日 · I’ve called customers to take back what I told them earlier in the day, called customers to take back an extra C2 pill, called prescribers to resend prescriptions that were mysteriously deleted, dissected printers, cut wires (the way IT zip tied our cords together was a crime), and a whole lot of other nonsense. Everything is new at some point.

Some how I have ended up with a lot of old expired medicine blister packs pain meds, antibiotics, etc etc.can I repurpose them some how or how to dispose them off safely

2021年11月16日 · An extra pill is not going to make a drug abuser nor change one. It just causes hassle to regular people. At my pharmacy we do 2 days early (10/1 + 28 = can fill 10/29) and I go by that and enforce it but splitting hairs between day 1 or day 0 seems like such a hassle to pharmacist and patient alike for no good reason. 🤷🏻‍♂️

My rudimentary layperson understanding of why it might help to get all your scripts at the same place: The DEA is an arbitrary beast and wants pharmacies filling a certain number of non-c2 scripts per every c2 script or else the DEA gets paranoid and investigatory about a possible c2 pill ...

Has nothing to do with early refill policies or even c2 scripts. You simply cannot refuse to fill a valid prescription because a patient happened to come in on a particular date. 2018年9月13日 · No C2 is the class of controlled substances. Meds like percocet that have accepted medical uses but are habit forming are in the class. C1 has no accepted safe medical uses drugs like heroin fall here. The scale goes to C5.

2023年9月15日 · There are procedures and policies in place in filling C2 and controlled medications to prevent things like this, so for this to happen (without any tampering on the part of the patients)…the pharmacist of record would have to skipped a couple of steps to the point of mixing C2 pain medications with C2 psych medications.
