The S550 GT PP 6 piston calipers use the GT350 pad backing plate which is bigger than the 13-14 GT500 6 piston caliper pad backing plate, which makes the two calipers incompatible.

To bring everyone up to speed that is not familiar with this mod, the Cadillac ATS (not the ATS-V) features a 4-piston Brembo caliper mounted on an 11.6" rotor. WIth some slight mods, it can be made to fit the Mustang.

2022年6月27日 · With the 1mm offset, you clock them towards each other, this now gives you the correct center to center to match the spindle. I started the bolts thru the spindle, clocked the bushings in the calipers and started to tighten the bolts, pulling the inserts into the caliper (just to start). Removed from the car, and finished pressing in the bushings.

2023年2月7日 · I finally connected with US Brembo engineer Dani via George at Race Technologies to discuss a variety of Brembo rings, and the annulus and/or air gap are the deciding factors for why a Brembo 2-piece rotor ring cannot be used with the '13-'14 GT500 caliper. If one was correct, the other was way out of balance.

2012年3月14日 · I've heard good things about the VHT line of caliper paint. I'm going to be sanding down my Brembo calipers smooth, putting on a few coats of red, then decals then a few coats of high temp clear coat. Hopefully it looks good.
