2024年3月29日 · Bonnieux is one of the most beautiful perched villages on the northern slopes of the Luberon. Some people call it the "Mont Saint-Michel of Provence". It is part of the golden triangle Gordes - Roussillon - Bonnieux, but, unlike its two neighbours, the latter is less busy, which makes it more authentic.

Bonnieux is towards the east of the Luberon region of Provence, between Lourmarin and Lacoste. The village, sprawling attractively down the side of a hill, is less developed for tourism than many of the villages in the Petit Luberon, but is well worth the detour.

Bonnieux (French pronunciation: ⓘ; Occitan: Bonius) is a commune in the Vaucluse department in the Provence-Alpes-Côte d'Azur region in Southeastern France. In 2019, it had a population of 1,206. In the plain below the village stands the notable Roman bridge the Pont Julien.
