Bleach raises CYA? - Trouble Free Pool
2009年9月21日 · For bleach, chlorinating liquid and lithium hypochlorite, an extra 8 ppm salt is added upon addition (so a total of 16 ppm salt from use of these products). Salt is fairly innocuous and builds up much more slowly in percentage terms since a salt level of 1000 ppm is not a problem while generally a CYA above 100 or a CH above 500 are usually ...

Adding bleach and muriatic acid at the same time?
2009年7月26日 · Bleach+acid=chlorine gas, one of the nasty poison gases used in WWI. Once they are in the water they are dilute enough to mix safely, like reebok says, although waiting a little while in between is never harmful. But don't store them near each other.--paulr
How can I test bleach for myself to confirm the concentration of …
2016年4月29日 · In the absence of my standard go-to 6% bleach at aldi, I went to Pinch A Penny Pool Supply and got a 2.5 gallon jug of supposedly 10.5% Sodium Hypochlorite. I am skeptical of that 10.5% concentration. Yesterday, my FC was 4.0 pp. , so I added 40 oz yesterday which should have bumped FC up by 2...
