I was having a problem with my Desktop Icons appearing as a blank white file instead of its associated icon as you can see below. Some icons are working normally and some don't. While I was doing research about this issue, most solutions were mentioning how the icon cache is corrupted. Not in my case though.

The problem (on Windows) is that while ".docx" files open up by default in MS Word, the files do not display MS Word icons.

2025年1月20日 · How the STUPID **** can we deactivate the **** Copilot icon on any **** text selection. That **** Icon is buggy as **** and prevents the proper selection of text, particularly selection of entire paragraphs with double click. The "Copilot" setting in the option settings is NOT **** there. We are on the very latest version of Word.
