BFKL Equation: Status and Problems | Physics of Particles and Nuclei
Sep 17, 2020 · The BFKL equation was derived for description of high energy behaviour of scattering amplitudes in non-Abelian gauge theories. Now it is widely known and used in quantum chromodynamics in the leading and next-to-leading logarithmic approximations. Its derivation is based on the pole Regge form of amplitudes with gluon exchanges in cross channels.
Title: An introduction to leading and next-to-leading BFKL
Oct 26, 1999 · These lectures provide an introduction to the BFKL equation and some of the recent developments, using DGLAP evolution as the starting point. Comments: 27 pages; presented at the Cracow School of Theoretical Physics, XXXIX Course, May 1999
QCD scattering: from DGLAP to BFKL - CERN Courier
Jul 20, 2010 · The Dokshitzer-Gribov-Lipatov-Alterelli-Parisi (DGLAP) equation and the Balitsky-Fadin-Kuraev-Lipatov (BFKL) equation together form the basis of current understanding of high-energy scattering in quantum chromodynamics (QCD), the theory of strong interactions.
[hep-ph/0106181] Review of BFKL - arXiv.org
Jun 16, 2001 · Abstract: I describe the underlying physics behind the BFKL resummation and discuss some of the recent ideas and results in this field. On the theoretical side I consider the formalism in the next-to-leading logarithmic (NLL) approximation and the interpretation of …
I present an introductory discussion of the BFKL approach to the theo- retical description of QCD processes at high energy and fixed (not growing with energy) momentum transfers.
White Paper on Forward Physics, BFKL, Saturation Physics and …
Mar 15, 2022 · We discuss the occurrences of BFKL resummation effects in special final states, such as Mueller-Navelet jets, jet gap jets, and heavy quarkonium production. It further addresses TMD factorization at low x and the manifestation of a semi-hard saturation scale in …
BFKL equation in the next-to-leading order: solution at ... - Springer
Oct 11, 2019 · The paper is organized as follows. In the next section we discuss general features of the BFKL Pomeron at large values of the impact parameter. In Sect. 3, we discuss the impact parameter dependence in double log approximation (DLA) of the leading order of the BFKL evolution equation, and show that the scattering amplitude decreases as a power ...

BFKL eigenvalue and maximal alternation of harmonic sums
Oct 1, 2019 · We analyze the known results for the eigenvalue of the Balitsky-Fadin-Kuraev-Lipatov (BFKL) equation in the perturbative regime using the analytic continuation of harmonic sums from even positive arguments to the complex plane. The resulting meromorphic functions have poles at negative integer values of the argument.
