2004年5月28日 · Best flowing, best for HP/TQ etc.. I did a search but didn't really see anything that answered my question. I recently swaped from flowmaster 40's to 50's delta flow and I know you guys are going to say I'm on crack but it seems like I did loose a little top end power.

2004年10月30日 · I used a magnaflow dual in/out with 2.5" pipe from the headers to the back. I went with this muffler because of the problem with the g-bodies and the tranny crossmemeber only having a hump of the right side. Anyways the muffler is basically a x-pipe with baffling and it sounds great no too loud.

2016年8月20日 · 10's are going to do nothing except let you say you have a muffler on there. Typically you want the muffler in the center of the exhaust. 3" pipes, 10's, and kicking out in front of the rear tires will simply direct the sound. If you want to deffen the sound make sure the exhaust clears the rockers and is not pointed directly at the ground.

2016年8月12日 · Muffler. It is all in your preference and how you are going to use the car. I think if you are going to drive to long distance shows or a daily Flows suck. They drone like crazy at highway speed - 2000 rpm or there abouts. Sound like a 55 gallon drum under you. Might seem cool for the local car show but if you drive it a lot they will wear you out.

2009年4月20日 · To me the best sounding muffler is a turbo muffler. They give off a nice deep tone, especially if you run them without tail pipes. The Dynomax super turbo`s sound good and aren`t very restrictive.

2004年7月19日 · This site has a very good comparison between 16 different mufflers. They test each muffler for sound level, hp and torque. I'm looking at the Borla XS even though they are around 100 bucks a pop. Something to keep in mind when you look through the data is that every 10 dB increase will seem about twice as loud.
