2019年5月13日 · Gaerne SG-10s and Sidi Crossfire 3 boots both have lots of adjustability for calf size. I have large calves to start with and I wear POD knee braces. The top plate of the Sidi boots can be easily unscrewed and reattached in a different set of holes to make the inside volume of the top of the boot a little larger or a lot larger.

You could buy a new DT250 for about 800. They were the ne plus ultra then, and other than the modern quick release buckle systems, they are as good today as anything I've tried.

2020年11月16日 · Go for the best you can afford and a little more$$$ if possible. I went with the cheap Oneill Rider boots from Cycle Gear and am extremely dissapointed. They felt good in the store actually better than boots costing 2-3 times more but in a short time they feel really worn and not very secure.

More like me trying to get used to wearing motocross boots instead of basic training boots. They are comfortable plenty of padding and I've been through mud more than u want to cause I hate mud.

2018年8月1日 · Not as protective as the top of the line boots (that are more aimed at MX) but still decent protection. Also the sole grip is great. Unfortunately the buckles system are terrible. It keeps screwing on wines, roots and rocks. I never had this problem with other boots. it also takes forever and ever to dry.

2010年7月7日 · This works well for me too. Some days after riding all day and getting into some swampy/sh**ty water the boots are downright rancid. I get the boots dried out really well and then pour a bunch of baking soda in them overnight. Next morning, just dump out most (but not all) of the baking soda and they're ready to go again.
