2013年5月20日 · To keep mold from forming the best thing is not to cover the boat while wet and keep it well ventilated while covered. (I keep a box fan running in mine 24/7.) Desiccants (Damp Rid, etc.) can help but have to be changed often in hot, humid environments.

I've also found Mr. Clean Magic Erasers to be great. I just bought StarBrite bird and spider poop cleaner from West Marine, but have not had time to use it.

You want to use the mildest thing you can on it and protect it from the suns rays as much as possible. Vented seat covers aren't a bad idea either.

2013年1月20日 · The seat backs are in ok condition other than the mold and a just a few seams are coming apart. I had an estimate done on replacing the vinyl on the seats and it came to over $1000. I can buy all new seats (base, backs and seats) for just over $1700.

2018年2月17日 · Tilex Mold and Mildew Bathroom cleaner is what I use (they make a Soap Scum one too—not that one)—I just spray it on and leave it a few seconds then wipe it off with a damp rag. A heavy coating of mildew may take a second time but don’t let it stay on the vinyl for more than 20-30 seconds—thats usually plenty of time to remove the mildew.

2009年9月15日 · I follow the serious marine cleaner with 303 vinyl uv protectant. The 303 product also helps repel stains. I have not tried the magic eraser on the boat yet but I have used it at home and it is great at removing marks on painted walls.

The best you can use is formula 303 spray.Get it at boaters world or any marine place.It is absolutely the best protection you can get against uv rays and fading and cracking.It is not cheap but it goes a long way.I have also heard the 2001 spray is decent too but I have never tried it.Charlie
