Too many anime openings are made to promote J-pop groups, and have tone and animation quality misrepresentative of the actual show. Monster opening musically and visually represents exactly how the show is, and what it is about.

Ancient Magus Bride went from having the best OP and ED of the season to having the worst, it's unreal. I much prefer the ED to the OP though, and I've read somewhere that it was composed by the same person who composed Spice and Wolf's first OP, wich would make perfect sense since that OP is like a drug to me.
