Are there any good sports vehicles that have AWD?
2024年5月2日 · BMW and Genesis make some really fun AWD cars. Their AWD system is RWD biased so it allows you to kick out the rear end. Merc made some as well, but the new AMGs with the 4 poppers are a massive dud, older ones with the V6s and V8s are quite fun.

2023年11月25日 · I'm a Canadian. We all drove 2wd cars forever. Your Camry will actually be desirable in snow WITH snow tires. AWD is fine too, but I wouldn't go out of my way to buy it because Canada. It's become popular here because Americans think they need it for some nebulous "safety" and we get what they get.

2013年11月18日 · Here's the story, I have an 05 Toyota Highlander (V6, AWD, 42K miles) and I'm planning on moving out to Colorado around this time next year. I don't know if it's a good idea to keep the Highander or get a smaller vehicle. I like that it's AWD but I only get about 18 mpg. I live in New England so I know how bad the snow conditions get.

2021年6月12日 · G37x. They're as cheap as $10k, reliable, fast, sporty. One of the best bang for your buck cars available, period. Acura TL SH-AWD. Similar to the G37, a bit bigger and more spacious, a bit less sporty since it's FWD based despited torque vectoring of SH-AWD, still an incredible car and incredible value. Mazda 3 AWD, or Camry AWD.

For most interpretations of "Best", i.e. performance in bad weather, torsen-based quattro is very good, very possibly the best. Subaru also uses a mechanical, permanent AWD system so that's good too. Realistically though, the modern, electronic variants like Haldex are just as good as permanent systems.

The V6 AWD challenger will feel like a slow swaying boat coming from the 370Z or even the cars mentioned above. It weighs 700lbs more then a 370Z or 2 series which is very significant if you care about handling. Not to mention the much softer suspension in the V6 models. I work for FCA and have driven everything I listed except the ATS and TT.

2022年12月31日 · All cars at that price point are high mileage, old, and/or in very bad condition. Add in a desirable feature like AWD and they are higher mileage, older and/or in even worse condition. I'd say look for Subarus, Legacies or Imprezas or Outbacks, but any you'll find at this price will likely be on their final descent.

Most other carmakers' AWD train is designed to only kick in when traction is lost. Basically, Traction Control on steroids lol. There's something beautiful about the way Sube's AWD feels while driving their performance models such as the WRX. There's no weird imbalance of torque, which is what usually bothers me when driving most AWD cars.
