2018年4月4日 · Drew the idea I had for a beholder experiment that can summon demons and other such creatures due to the fact that it's part of some ritual and got a wild imagination! I hope you like my take on it. Using this beholder as the mastermind for the current campaign i'm running with a lot of demons and creatures from the farplane.

A beholder is the type of creature that has a plan for when their lair is assaulted by 6 T-Rex with Wizards on their back. So even if you surprise a Beholder in that moment, you don't really surprise that Beholder because it will have seen that as a possibility.

Give it a toned-down version of the Beholder's normal eyestalk attacks but attach them to melee strikes (tentacle whips that inflict the chosen eyestalk effect without a save), a hover ability (limited flying speed), and maybe let it act as a relay to the Behemoth (use its head as a focus for a Scrying spell, or use of the Sending spell only to ...

I finally bought and painted my first Beholder mini! I was inspired by the Beholder from the D&D Beyond theme song (the image on the right) for my color scheme, and I’m really happy with how it came out. I’ve seen some amazing Beholders on here, and I figured I’d throw mine out here too.
