2014年12月9日 · The Beam Rifle was originally to be used by Elites in Halo: Combat Evolved with the name of "Gravity Rifle" and instead of it being a purplish blue it was green and black. It was cut from the final game because of time constraints. Before Halo 2's release, the Beam Rifle was much longer, which can still be seen in pre-release screenshots.

2019年6月3日 · My beam rifle user was a beam/dark corruptor, and even though dark mostly uses all of its powers once at the start of the spawn and then leaves you free to blast afterward, I still ended up spending a fair chunk of time each spawn not doing beam rifle things.

I'd argue the beam rifle out-damages the AR over time for bosses and the like (as it gets a hidden boost the longer you stay on target), and both the beam rifle and CT have the benefit of being able to shoot longer without losing accuracy.

2010年5月31日 · The min-max answer is that Beam Rifle is a primarily single target set with some significant debuff qualities. As such, it makes a poor choice for a Blaster or Corruptor - who tend to specialize in large-scale AE damage - but quite a good one for a Defender - who specializes in debuffing (and whatever damage they can sneak in).

Beam Rifle was pretty good in gun builds (use the other armor (osseous)). But some enemies are hard to kill with beam rifle because the beam refuses to hit weakpoints sometimes. Reply reply
