haven't looked at all the Pursuit Lance 89, 91.. the extra mech is a Highlander for 50 & 56, the Custom Mech is a wolfhound worth 41 points.. not bad little lance.. add in blood stalker you got a lance to worry about..

The lance packs are a good mix of mechs to get started with. You can go heavy or light, slow or fast. The units are there. And don't feel beholden to the lances as they come. By all means, by several and mix them up to what you want to play. I did a whole battalion with the plastic lance packs, and I mixed them all to what I wanted.

I've not got the lance packs yet, but the Alpha Strike deck from Gencon this year had a few notable pilot cards, each one had a the Alpha Strike stats for a custom mech on one side, and Era/Faction details and two short paragraphs about the pilot, skill level and Special Abilities, plus point costs for giving the mech the pilot's skill and abilities on the other.
