Bato Dugarzhapov is a Russian painter born in Durdulga village, Chita region of Zabaykalsky Krai, Russia, in 1966. Bato started painting in a small art school in his hometown and showed a natural talent for art.

Bato Dugarzhapov is a contemporary Russian artist from Moscow, Russia. With his bold brushwork and painterly style, combined with suggestive color work that capture the feeling of a scene without unnecessary detail, he is arguably the foremost painter in the new contemporary style known as neo-impressionism.

BATO was born in Duldurga village near the Chinese and Mongolian borders of Russia. He studied at the Moscow Tomskiy Art School. He graduated from the Surikov A rt Institute in Moscow. He is a member of the Moscow Artists’ Union and currently lives and works in Moscow.
