2022年6月18日 · I like Batman 89 a bit better, but Returns is still really good. I remember seeing it opening weekend at the daycare I was volunteering as a counselor for at the time. It was so packed that the theater broke all sorts of fire codes by letting people sit in the aisles and stand by the back wall if they weren't able to get a seat.

2022年7月1日 · I think I watched Batman Returns on VHS probably around 5-6, I can’t imagine showing my kids that in a couple years when there is so much other kid appropriate Batman media. I do agree The Batman is darker than the Keaton movies I just don’t think they are aimed at kids at all and the toys depict a heavily watered down version of the movie.

2022年3月11日 · I'm one of the few who thinks Batman Returns >> Batman (1989). Mainly because Michelle Pfieffer's Catwoman is GOAT. Danny DeVito is also having a great time. The christmas, winter aesthetic Tim Burton married with the gothic vibe of Gotham City has been seared into my brain. Plus, Keaton was phenomenal.

2020年8月11日 · I think that Jack's Joker is way more interesting and iconic than Walken's Max Shreck and DeVito as Penguin. That those two characters drag Returns down and essentially became emblematic of the problem that kind of afflicted all following Batman films: too many villains with not enough clear driving focus.
