I have a Leupold VX3 1.75x6 scope that is set up for dear hunting (as a back-up or a whatever rifle?). I really like the piston set-up and think it's the best in the industry.

Jan 3, 2011 · Re: Barrett REC 7 The video above is good, as well Barrett brought the REC7s out to the Bash in the beginning of December, we shot them in Full Auto as well from the Helicopter. Afterwards, they came by with a couple of Full Auto PSD models in both 5.56 and 6.8. These were 8" suppressed models, very fun to shoot. Good stuff coming out of Barrett.

I have had this rifle for a year now and like it a lot.Been shooting 50gr vmax handholds and getting 3/4" groups at 100 yds.It has a 1&7 barrel and i want to load some 75 gr amax slugs in it.Has anyone tried this with the rec7. Just wondering how it worked out.
