2023年6月25日 · I still love part 2, but it’s a bridge to part 3 more than a movie in its own right. Overall, part 1 is the best movie on its own. Part 3 is the best when considering the trilogy as a whole. And part 2 is a necessary but fun messy movie with some great diamonds in the rough.

Back to the Future III is an underrated masterpiece
I feel like Part III was the real sequel they wanted to make, and Part II was just a necessary connector given the ending of BTTF. So much of Part II doesn’t even make logical sense within the rules of the BTTF universe. And I love the train-pushing-the-time-machine sequence so much.
