2022年4月15日 · My kids found a baby grey fox languishing in the driveway one morning. So fresh its eyes were shut and it couldn't walk. I was sooooo tempted to try to raise it myself. But the Google told me they make terrible pets for many reasons plus I didn't have the skills or equipment to care for such a young 'un. So I turned it in to a wildlife rehab place.
Found this baby red fox anyone have advice for caring for him?
Unless a fox is bottle fed before its eyes are open, it will never be a good pet. All you can do by trying to keep this baby is guarantee it a horrible death by destroying its ability to live in the wild. If you care about him even a little bit, you will get him to a rehabber.

2019年4月25日 · Slightly off topic but look up “Fox Heaven” YouTube channel,by Pablo Foxfeeder. He’s in Dublin Ireland and puts food out for foxes and has a webcam on continuously. I check the channel,pretty much every night before going to bed, and I always see foxes randomly between 2am and 4am Dublin time.

The mama fox tried to get in to retrieve her cub but could not fit in the pet door or was afraid to attempt it. So the neighbors closed all the interior doors to the kitchen and left the back door open so mama and cub could be reunited.

Reasons we chose it: Easy to spell, pronounced how it's spelled, short and doesn't require a nickname (requirement of my husband), okay yeah X-Files, foxes are pretty cool animals, for some reason it was the only thing we could agree on, and his initials are FTW (for the win!).
