2022年9月9日 · You’d be surprised how many people think the E46 feels good and have no idea that their bump stops and bushings are completely shot. I don’t think many people here have had the pleasure of thrashing a brand new E46 back in the day.

E46's are old window regulators will go out, bushings are probably worn, and all the other small old car things will add up. The difference is that with a BMW if you let the maintenance slip you can cause a lot more damage.

2023年6月15日 · BMW does not make parts like the fuel pump and sender assembly themselves. We all know that. They are made by companies like VDO, Bosch, etc. according to BMW’s specifications. And companies like BMW take samples and measure if they are made to spec, meet certain requirements, or are too close to one end of a given spectrum.

Before going forward with possible expensive solutions, I wanted to request your wisdom here, as most French e46's forums are dead. So basically, my e46 won't crank, won't start, as you can see in the short video here :

The point of the e46 is to have fun and enjoy your days driving a machine designed to be used and be drivable every day. No, a car over 100K miles does not need a $800 in suspension work. My car is currently at 150k and the suspension is just as nice as a bmw 4 series that a relative in my family owns.

The lesser car had heated seats, I removed those heated seats and installed those heated seats (and console) to the better car that came (from the factory) without heated seats.
