
I can't get Auto Sum to work in Excel - Microsoft Community
I've used AutoSum many times but have never had a problem. I decided to copy and paste columns from my online bank statement today into Excel, but when I try to use the Auto Sum feature, it comes to zero every time. I tried copying and pasting the the data into Notepad and then back into Excel, but that didn't work.

2016年6月14日 · Before Excel 2016 I use to be able to Auto Sum a row like C2:C24, then copy the formula and paste to other rows to automatically add that line of numbers such as D2:D24. When I do that now, it just copies the number that was in C2:C24, and does not do the Auto Sum feature giving me wrong numbers. This is very frustrating.

2018年6月30日 · Here is also a test you can run. Start a new file. In A1 type in 1 and in A2 type in 2. Go to A3 and AutoSum. I'm betting Excel puts in =Sum(A1:A2). You should get 3. Now to go A4 and put in =subtotal(9,A1:A2) and you should get 3 again. Feel free to share your file as long as there is no sensitive or confidential information and I'll look at it.
AutoSum comes up =SUBTOTAL (function_num,ref1, [ref2],...)

Excel "=SUM" formula does not add up numbers correctly
2013年4月2日 · I've got the same problem using Microsoft Excel 2013. I've got a sum(L6:L35) giving me a sum of 84.5, yet, when I select them, the sum at the lower right corner of the status bar gives me 80 and when I add them up manually they add up to 80 as well!
