Army Sustainment Command (ASC) provides globally responsive strategic logistics capabilities and materiel readiness to enable Combatant Commanders to conduct the full range of military operations. ASC is the Army Materiel Command's (AMC) single face to the field and synchronizes and executes logistics.

ASC provides Combat Service Support capability to Soldiers serving in Combat Commands in the continental United States and overseas to ensure expeditionary war-fighting readiness and leverage national logistics to sustain a transforming Army at war.

The office collects documents pertaining to almost every facet of the command including its ammunition plant and depot assets, forward commands, Army Prepositioned Stocks, Logistics Civil Augmentation Program (LOGCAP), staff, and directorate offices.
