2017年8月11日 · Probably something seriously wrong with it, in the way of stuff that wasn't armored, or that the modifications made it expensive and difficult to repair. Just imagine tracing a wire fault in OP's BMW example - which the harness was rerouted to the rear to reach the protected electronics.

2023年4月27日 · The vehicles used are fully armored providing all-around ballistic and blast protection (also from below). The ballistic protection gives protection against at least 7.62. Most commonly used is the BMW X5 Security Plus (VR6 protection), but other vehicles with similar capabilities are used as well.

It cost around USD $10 - $15K (BRL 60-90k) EXTRA to bulletproof ANY car in brazil. Not that expansive right？ because: Brazil have highest bullet proof car ratio in the world!!

BMW has had such armored versions for a long time. Mahindra needs to develop an equivalent vehicle first and only then offer it. I am just going to say that modifying XUV or scorpio to withstand grenades is far more complicated than building an ugly vehicle for that purpose.
