2008年9月17日 · Argon pressure Hi blazehaze69, I use 336 cu ft tank and a full tank is about 2500 psi. I stop tig welding when it gets to about 100 psi just to be safe for my welds and also to make sure I bring back the tank with positive pressure to prevent possible contamination for …
Gas transfer between cylinders - Miller Welding Discussion Forums
2004年9月7日 · I can tell you that $50.00 CDN, is a fair lease price. I can also tell you that when you fill the 300 cu. ft. tank, it should always be considerably less, per cubic foot of gas, than the 80 cu. ft tank. Unless portability is an issue, I would stick with the larger tank. The savings in gas price will help offset the lease price.

Show Dog, On a small tank like that fill it up with water push the fumes out, drain, and through an inert gas hose which could be Argon, 75/25, co2, or nitrogen, If your tig welding it then argon or helium would be best. Keep the gas flowing through. I …
Argon bottle standing or on its side? - Miller Welding Discussion …
2017年2月28日 · Obviously welding out of a pickup bed is less desirable that off a flatbed, but I haven't got around to building a flatbed yet. I am trying to organize the space and I'm wondering if I can get input on whether or not an argon bottle can be laid on its side when used or if it has to be upright. I would appreciate any insight on this.
Transporting Tanks - Miller Welding Discussion Forums
Gas bottles (Oxygen, Argon, etc) are ok in any position, but acetylene is better vertical due to the filler. In most of the US, regulations require that all tanks be secured so that they can not move, and many states require all tanks be transported vertical, valve …
pressure of full 125cf argon cylinder? - Miller Welding Discussion …
Argon: 1.78400 (g / l) = 0.111371482 pounds / (cu ft) So 120 cu ft should add 13.36 lbs. And then if you really care (roughly): pressure x volume = some_constant x temperature. The 'some_constant' depends on things like number of molecules. Just be aware that if you double the temperature, you will double the pressure.
How long should a tank of argon last? - Miller Welding Discussion …
If you have an 80cf bottle of gas, and you're regulating it to 10cf/h, then that bottle will last 8 hours. @20cfh, it's down to 4, and so on... If you're starting and stopping a lot, the pre and post flow will eat up your available welding time by discharging …

2010年10月2日 · The regulator or flow meter pressures are not super critical. It might help to have a method of containing the argon with the ability to bleed off excess pressure once the tank is full of argon. You dont want to pressurize the tank with argon, but instead have enough to displace any possible explosive fumes that may have been in the tank.
