This late 14th to early 15th century bastard sword by Windlass Steelcrafts is based on an original sword in the collection of the the MET in New York and takes it name from the 1422 Battle of Arbedo – a costly victory for the Duchy of Milan against the Swiss. A responsive sword, the Arbedo can be ably used both single-handedly and with two hands.

As the battle raged on, a group of Swiss foragers wandered near the scene.
