Anyone have experience using ARAG Legal Insurance?
2022年9月20日 · From my experience, the ARAG plan is complete trash. I tried to use it 3 times, each time getting a list full of unavailable, dismissive or uninterested attorneys. ARAG customer service was not even slightly interested in helping find an attorney in my area. I promptly canceled the coverage during the next open enrollment.
Has anyone here used ARAG Legal Services? : r/CAStateWorkers
2020年9月22日 · I'm an attorney who does work for ARAG, and I think the main advantage is that you can get representation for disputes that might not be worth hiring an attorney for otherwise. If you have a contract dispute worth $10,000 to $20,000, for example, it's generally not worth incurring attorneys' fees since they'll normally cost you as much as the ...
Any experience with Attorney services through ARAG?
There's a deductible ($250 on most of the items I looked at), some legal services are listed as included in coverage but only as discounted attorney fees (25%.) Some things, like child custody and estate matters, have a set number of hours before you're paying out of pocket (9); child support is capped at 8.
Group Legal Services (ARAG) : r/CAStateWorkers - Reddit
2021年9月3日 · I've had ARAG for a few years now and to be frank, I haven't used any of the actual legal services. That said, it does have identity theft monitoring which to me, makes what I pay each month worth it. On a bit of a related note, if you're interested in document templates, you can access some for free through the legal services portion of EAP.
Are legal insurance services worth it? How is the quality?
2021年11月12日 · This isn't really a legal question. Value is a personal decision, and perhaps one bounded by your life conditions and propensity to need to draw on legal services. Legal service or insurance plans have massive limitations and restrictions. They'll handle a minor traffic offense, but likely not extended legal engagement.
ARAG? Any experience/thoughts? : r/LawFirm - Reddit
2020年2月27日 · I'm a network attorney with ARAG and Hyatt (Metlife). I'm a solo so my overhead is low and I'm in a low cost of living area. I have received some clients through ARAG. Rates are low. After their insurance runs out, I can bill at 75% of my normal rate. I get pad quickly. Overall, I have had a good experience. I will probably continue as a ...
Who has used an ARAG lawyer to create a will/trust/llc? If so
2023年2月3日 · It was a smooth process. The ARAG site has a list of attorneys. When you contact them, make sure you let them know you have ARAG. After you select the one you like, either you OR the attorney needs to complete an ARAG form. ARAG just needs to confirm the legal area, type of service, and involved parties are covered by your ARAG plan.
ARAG/Legal Services Worth It? : r/CAStateWorkers - Reddit
Of course, ARAG like a home warranty: They’re banking on most people not using their services, and they’ll try not to pay out if they don’t have to. Just be careful to use only their chosen lawyers (or really understand their out of network offerings) and you’ll be fine.

2023年9月24日 · ARAG is great for the influx of clients for attorneys, but it just simply doesn’t pay them as well for their services. I’ve personally used them for an adoption, drawing up some legal documents for some land I own, getting a speeding ticket dismissed and getting a will/trust done.
Employee Assistance Program (EAP) vs. ARAG Group Legal Services
2021年1月22日 · I am trying to get an idea if the EAP discount would be better than the additional fees I'd have to pay for using ARAG's services. I guess it would really depend on the specific legal service. I mainly subbed to ARAG for peace of mind. For instance if I ever came across a situation where I'd need some type of legal support, I'd know who to call.
